Dear Experts, Dear Colleagues and Dear Friends,I would like to draw your attention to the exceptional nature of our next scheduled committee meetingOctober 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.Room G04 (Agora) at the Council of Europe, StrasbourgWith English/French interpretationLink to the platform We will address two dimensions of human rights related to current national and global politics: one concerning the functioning of health systems, the other relating to inclusion and sustainable development at the international, national and local levels.Barring any last-minute unforeseen events, we will have the privilege of exchanging with leading stakeholders, such as·
French senators Bernard Jomier and Corinne Imbert, medical doctor and pharmacist, rapporteurs of the Senate's Social Affairs Committee, which has just published a report entitled "The financialisation of the provision of care: a takeover bid on health? ",·
Laurence DELLEUR, journalist and co-director of an exceptional documentary recently broadcast on ARTE entitled "Hold up on the elderly",·
Laurence LWOFF, Head of the Human Rights and Biomedicine Division of the Council of Europe, with whom we have an ongoing collaboration, who will present a prospective analysis of human rights in the fields of Biomedicine and Health,· Practitioners, high-level academics and researchers, pilots of European projects related to inclusion, health and the SDGs, all partners and experts on our committee.
